Reliance Jio, after making an entry in the telecom and broadband sectors. Jio is preparing to enter the online grocery and food shopping business. The company has started its own web portal named “Jio Mart”.
What is JioMart?
The Jio Mart app will connect the local retail stores and buyers. this is a new concept by Jio Mart, the company’s new venture will be an aggregator that will partner with the local grocery store to provide them with a point of sale(POS) terminals with low-interest working capital, inventory management skills and GST Compliance.
The tag line of Jio Mart is “DESH KI NAYI DUKAN”. Currently, the Jio Mart facility is available in Thane, Kalyan, and Navi Mumbai. Jio Mart provides free home delivery, pre-registration discount, and the facility to buy more than 50 thousand grocery products online.
